About Umami Bass
Founded by Braizahn Jones, Umami Bass is an international workshop and performance initiative focused on bass pedagogy and community building. The program has been successfully held in Japan and the United States, bringing together bassists from around the world to foster musical environments that value depth, curiosity, and meaningful collaboration.
Mission
Umami Bass creates intensive learning experiences that go beyond traditional bass instruction. The workshops combine:
